The Bifrost Bridge is a Viking princess fairy tale intertwined with Norse mythology. Silya, the feisty ten year old Princess of Norway, eagerly awaits the arrival of her cousin and best friend, Princess Hedda of Denmark. The princesses are both looking forward to the summer solstice celebration, but trouble lurks in their future as magical villains see the girls as being vital for their supernatural conspiracy. Hedda and Silya find themselves cast into a dangerous adventure filled with fire giants, female warrior angels, and the god of thunder. Can the princesses save themselves and their kingdoms, or will the forces of chaos overwhelm and destroy them?

MY REVIEW
The Bifrost Bridge is a masterpiece.  People will be talking about this book long after its author is gone.  I seriously mean that.  I read it years ago in its infancy and thought, “Instant Classic!”  I’m so excited that its finally been released!  If you have a daughter who loves fairytale princess stories, this story is a MUST READ!  Even if you don’t have a daughter, pick it up and read it.  If you’re like me, you’re a princess at heart.  Buy this book as a gift if you have a niece or granddaughter.

Okay, so what’s so great about this book?  What’s not great about it?  But first things first, I’m a fantasy lover.  Fantasy books need talking animals.  Check!  A furry cute talking animal makes it even better.  Fantasy books should also have some magic.  Check!  How about princesses?  Check!  Bad guys?  Check!  More than one bad guy!  Oh my!  What about illustrations?  Check!  You’ll love the artwork in this book.  Hmm… let’s see.  How about some characters that we all know... like say Thor!  Check!  Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the Bifrost Bridge.

You shouldn’t put this off either because when you participate in the pre-order, you save money and get a signed copy from James Bradley Clarke.  He might not be famous yet, but he will be.  You’ll want a signed copy.  Think about all those people who had an opportunity to get signed copies of Harry Potter before J.K. Rowling was really famous.  They’re now wishing they’d have gotten an original signed copy.

So where do you purchase your signed copy?  Good question!  All you need to do is click on the book cover image at the top of this post.  Thanks for joining me under the shade of the willow tree! ~ CYNTHIA P. WILLOW

The Bifrost Bridge was first developed as stories I started
telling to my two daughters back in the summer of 2003. Both
girls shared a love for classic fairy tales, so I decided to try my
hand at inventing original princess characters for both of them.
As residents in Riverside, Illinois, we lived in walking distance
to the Brookfield Zoo where the girls regularly admired the
Norwegian Fjord Horses. When I learned this ancient breed of
horse was used by the Vikings, a specific medieval setting for
the stories came into focus. I hope everyone will enjoy the story!

I love to write fiction and fantasy with a twist of faith.  I usually focus on a young adult audience, but have ventured into some mature stories as well.  But, you don't have to be young to enjoy my writing, just young at heart.
